Arrived in Paris this morning; coffee and croissant in the chilly Gare de Lyon. Cigarettes and diesel fuel in the air. A sunny, sleepy TGV ride to Dijon; familiar drive to Beaune, back to the apartment in centre ville. More caffeine to keep awake; dinner tonight on the Place Carnot. Santenay tasting in the morning.
